Materials

Everything we make it from,
and what each one costs.

No hidden grades, no premium tiers you only find out about at quotation. This is the whole list.

Paint chips, marble, oak and brass handles laid out on linen

Hand-sprayed paint

Nine colours, and any other you like.

Two-pack polyurethane, sprayed in our own booth and baked hard. Every colour on this list is included in the door price. If you want a Farrow & Ball or Little Greene number that is not here, we will match it for nothing.

Flour

An off white with a warm base. Holds its own against north light.

Included

Buttermilk

A soft, slightly yellowed neutral. Our most requested paint.

Included

Butter

The colour off our own logo. Warmer and softer than it sounds.

Included

Mushroom

Grey and brown in equal measure. Sits well with oak and brass.

Included

Crust

A deeper earth tone for rooms that take a lot of light.

Included

Sage

A muted green, grey enough to stay quiet in a kitchen.

Included

Olive

The other colour off our logo. Very good with unlacquered brass.

Included

Slate Blue

A blue with enough grey to read as a neutral in the evening.

Included

Charcoal

Soft black, matt, and surprisingly easy to live with.

Included

Timber

Six veneers over a stable core.

Real timber veneer laid over moisture-resistant MDF, so it moves less than solid wood and stays flat across a two-metre door. Finished with a hardwax oil you can top up yourself.

Natural Oak

European oak veneer, finished with a hardwax oil.

34 per door

Crown Cut Oak

Cut to show the cathedral figure. Best on wide, plain doors.

48 per door

Smoked Oak

Fumed to draw the tannin out. Darker and warmer than a stain.

58 per door

Dark Rye Oak

Deeper again, close to walnut but with oak's open grain.

62 per door

American Walnut

Chocolate through to purple in the same board. A statement.

92 per door

Olive Ash

Pale and straight grained, with an olive streak through the heart.

44 per door

Worktops

Templated, fabricated and fitted.

Prices are per square metre and include templating on site, fabrication, cut-outs for your sink and hob, and fitting. Stone is templated once the cabinets are in and fitted about ten days later.

Ironmongery

The part you touch every day.

Solid brass, blackened steel or saddle leather. Prices are each, fitted and aligned by hand. Unlacquered brass will patinate; that is the point of it.

Push to Open

No hardware at all. Sprung catches behind the door.

£9 each

Integrated J-Pull

A continuous rebate machined into the top edge of the door.

£14 each

Knurled Brass Bar

Cross-hatched knurling on solid unlacquered brass. Our house handle.

£38 each

Brushed Brass Bar

A plain round bar, brushed and lightly lacquered.

£29 each

Blackened Steel Bar

Matt black with a slight texture. Good against pale paint.

£24 each

Antique Brass Knob

A turned knob with an aged finish. Suits in-frame doors.

£22 each

Saddle Leather Pull

A leather strap on brass posts. Softens a hard scheme.
