Full-height panelled doors in a room with three metre ceilings, housing two ovens, a fridge and a year of dry stores.
Three metre ceilings are a gift and a problem. A standard 2.1m run of tall cabinets leaves a metre of dead wall above it that looks like a mistake.
So we took the doors to within 100mm of the ceiling and put a deep cornice across the top, which gives the room a proper line to finish on.
Behind them: two ovens at eye height, an integrated fridge and freezer, and enough shelved dry storage that the worktop never has anything on it that is not being used.
